WALK TALK DRAW - creative responses to landscape
3-6th June - A 4 day immersive art experience In the beautiful Perthshire countryside. For those wishing to connect with the natural environment and explore your own creative ideas in a small group. Led by local artist Beverly Wainwright.
DAY 1 - WATERFALL - Walk from the hut to a waterfall nearby and explore your response to movement, sound, patterns using a concertina sketchbook with prompts. Return for lunch to the studio and continue to develop your ideas. DAY 2 - CULTYBRAGGAN - This is a former prisoner of war camp with interesting buildings, allotments and a community orchard. We will explore the site, start with loose sketches, followed by more considered observations and return to the studio for lunch and the afternoon in the studio.
DAY 3 - LOCH EARN. We will work on a larger piece, looking at the wider landscape using a variety of different materials. Lunch will be at a local cafe with a chance to develop work further outdoors after lunch (weather permitting)
DAY 4 - Studio day to work on longer studies and develop finished pieces.

BRING - Waterproofs and boots or sturdy shoes. Your own favourite sketching book and materials.
INCLUDED - light vegetarian/vegan lunches. Basic sketching materials and materials in the studio.
